Association�s 12th Annual Wetland Science Forum

Wisconsin Wetlands Association will convene members of the wetland
community of Wisconsin and the Great Lakes region to discuss a variety of
issues related to riverine wetlands. The program for this 2-day conference
will focus on the theme of riverine wetlands.

workshop offered in three cities by UW-Extension and Wisconsin
Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), will
highlight innovative land use tools, agriculture and urban development
programs, and the use of development rights to maintain the unique

The Wisconsin Working Lands Initiative
Program -- Cooperative Extension�s Local Government Center -- Local
Land Use Planning and Zoning WisLine Series. Preservation of
agricultural and forested lands is the subject of a Department of
Agricultural, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) initiative; learn
about reactions to the report and proposals to implement it.

The
Tri-State Forest Stewardship Conference
The 2007 Tri-State Forest Stewardship Conference will be held at
Sinsinawa Mound Conference Center, Sinsinawa, WI. The conference is
designed for landowners from Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Agency
professionals, consultants, forestry industry representatives, and
others interested in woodlands and natural resources are welcome.
Concurrent sessions will provide participants with the knowledge and
skills to manage woodlands using good stewardship principles.

WAPA/WI-ASLA 2007 Annual
Conference - "Greening Wisconsin - Planning for a Sustainable
Future"
This conference is directed to planners, planning commissioners,
landscape architects, public officials and interested citizens from
Wisconsin. Sessions will provide information on sustainable/green
developments, comprehensive and smart growth plans, mixed use
development, landscape architecture, redevelopment and transportation
planning. In addition, there will be a discussion panel on the Swedish
Eco-Municipality/Sustainable Development Tour. Midwest Airlines
