A joint venture of Cooperative Extension and
the College of Natural Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point

CLUSTER: CREATIVE LAND USE SERIES FOR TEACHERS AND EDUCATOR RESOURCES

Future Work:

We are actively seeking funding and participants to develop a national level K-12 Land Use Curriculum and Activity Guide.  The proposed changes to the project would include: reviews and revision of the conceptual framework, revisions of the suggested scope and sequence, developing thematic based lessons and activities, review and revision of the on-line course, enhancement of the project website to offer a discussion area for professionals and educators to exchange information and ideas, and educator training workshops.  The idea is to provide educators both the tools and training necessary to incorporate land use concepts into the curriculum.
