Wildlife in Need Center, Oconomowoc, WI Duties will include most aspects of wildlife rehabilitation. This will include, but not be limited to, diet preparation, cage maintenance, rescue, medical care, and release. Care is provided for native birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles. Internship can be tailored to meet individual goals by focusing on areas such as parasitology, environmental education, fundraising, research, etc. Previous work with wildlife is a plus. Experience: A commitment to working with wildlife. Reliability, responsibility and an ability to work independently and with others. Amenities: A small stipend will be available with 2 available positions including room and board. Duration: April thru September (dates negotiable) with a possibility for a permanent position.
