Upper Mississippi River NWR, Thomson, IL
Interns will conduct outdoor classrooms for various school grades, assist and conduct interpretive talks and tours, Assist in beach inventories, assist in writing news releases, brochures and other outreach materials, conduct visitor listening surveys and design and complete canoe trails. Experience: Prefer Juniors or Seniors enrolled in a wildlife education or environmental education curriculum with a goal of working in the natural resource field. Pay: $500 upon successful completion of 320 hours or $250 upon successful completion of 160 hours of work. Free housing may be available.
