Upper Mississippi River NWR, Thomson, IL
Interns will assist in waterfowl banding, various wildlife surveys: heron rookeries, eagle, waterfowl, frogs, and toads, etc., perform wildlife habitat and wetland restoration work, invasive species monitoring and other research studies. Experience: Prefer Juniors or Seniors enrolled in a wildlife or natural resources program with a goal of working in the natural resource field. Pay: $500 upon successful completion of 320 hours or $250 upon successful completion of 160 hours of work. Free housing may be available.
