Duration: Approximately May 16, 2005 to September 3, 2005 Job Description: 50% Conduct weekly garden programs for youth groups (teach gardening skills, help children tend their gardens, conduct activities in ecology, botany, nutrition; 30% Plan, plant, and maintain the education gardens; 10% Coordinate assistance from volunteers and other staff; 10% Assist in recruitment, communication, evaluation, and record keeping. Knowledge Required: Knowledge, experience, and
skill in environmental education teaching methods and in organic vegetable
gardening; knowledge of ecology, botany, and nutrition; knowledge of child
development and group management skills; strong skills in verbal and
