Klippel Location: DNR Havenwoods Forest, 6141 N Hopkins Street, Milwaukee, WI 53209 Telephone Number: (414) 527-0232 Hourly Rate: $8.750 per hour, plus $0.45 per hour for evenings after 6 p.m. and $0.60 per hour for Saturday work. Duration: Approximately April 18, 2005 to September 30, 2005 Job Description: Volunteer coordinator for vegetation management: 70% Sign up youth and adult groups to assist with invasive plant control. Teach them tool use and safety. Prepare and conduct learning activities to enhance their understanding of the project. Work alongside the groups. 15% Assist with publicizing the request for invasives volunteers, administering volunteer agreements, and providing project documentation. 15% Use equipment to independently conduct large-scale invasives removal. Knowledge Required: Strong verbal and written
communication skills. Knowledge of ecological concepts and vegetation
control methods. Ability to teach adults and youth. Ability to do physical
