Hourly Rate: $9.000 per hour.

Duration: Approximately May 2, 2005  to October 31, 2005

Job Description: These positions work independently or with general direction from permanent staff performing wildlife management responsibilities that include the following duties. 60% - Undertake and coordinate grassland maintenance program. Apply herbicides with back- pack low-volume sprayers and associated chainsaw cutting of brush and trees to maintain grassland areas and dikes. 10% - Wetland maintenance and associated surveys. 5%- Participate in educational programming. 5% - Road and trail maintenance. 5% - Posting of signs and repair of gates. 5% - General facilities maintenance. 5% - Forest management (oak release). 3% - Administative duties. 2% - Associated safety training.

Knowledge Required: Ability to work independently, be self motivated and punctual. Must be able to work on a variety of tasks with little supervision. Good organizational skills and ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment. Valid driver's license.
