Setting up Your Own Water Internship

It may be possible for students to initiate their own internship. This might be especially attractive to some students if they could live at home while working to save costs. If you are interested in doing an internship with a particular agency (private, state, municipal or federal) that you are familiar with you must provide the Intern Director with the name and phone number of an agency contact person. The Intern Director will then contact the agency to determine if they would be receptive to participating in the UWSP internship program and can facilitate the process of establishing the position. It is also possible for you to receive intern credits for internships organized and administered outside this campus. If you have any questions contact the Intern Director - Stan Szczytko room 331 CNR - 346-4181.

Please make sure that you type the application in an MS Word format (preferably the version that is on the Campus Network - Ver. 6.0) and that you maintain the spacing of the original application form to ensure that it is readable when I receive it. In some cases you may have to delete spaces after you type in your responses. This application is in table format so you can use the tab key to go from one cell to the next. When you save this file make sure that it has the Word extension on the file (.doc).
