Australia

Each spring semester students have the opportunity to spend a 16 week study abroad program at MacQuarie University in Sydney, Australia. Courses may include: Australian culture and civilization, Geology, Economics, Native Literature, and selected topics in Ecological issues. Students are encouraged to apply early, space is limited to 40 participants. Preference is given to upper level students. Approximate cost is $11,750 - $12,500 (2006 estimate). New Zealand

Students have the unique opportunity to spend a 12 week study abroad program exploring the diverse landscapes and culture of New Zealand. With an emphasis in the sciences, students are offered courses in ecology, culture, and geography in affiliation with the University of Canterbury in Christchurch on New Zealand's South Island. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. Preference is given to upper level students. Approximate cost is $13,900 - $14,400.
