Academic Program:

-Travel abroad for one academic year, ideally junior/senior year
-One semester of study in Germany
-One semester of study at one of the Finland institutions
-Internship Abroad (Germany, Finland, or both)
-German language training
-Online Discussion Forum/Evaluation
-Professional presentation

Academic Calendar (Approx.):

United States
        -Fall semester: September-mid December;
        -Spring semester: mid January-mid May;
        -Internship: mid May-mid August

Germany
        -Internship: January-mid March
        -Summer term: mid March-July
        -Winter term: October- mid February
        -Internship: August-September

Finland
        -Fall semester: September-mid December
        -Spring semester: mid January-April
        -Internship:  May-August

Cost of Program:

  • UWSP/NCSU students pay "home" tuition

  • TAPS grant pays up to $12,000/student, which includes: travel costs, room & board, German language classes, other miscellaneous costs beyond "home" tuition
