Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry
The GEM program on Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry (GEMSAF) is linking communities in Wisconsin with communities in Mexico, Africa and elsewhere through "twinning studies." The goal is to help communities learn from each other as they initiate or expand efforts toward sustainable agriculture or forestry. This program will build a network of producers whose operations reflect a desire to work with natural resources in a sustainable manner.
