Forestry Outreach Programs

  Master Woodland Steward Program

Application Process

The Master Woodland Steward Program is designed for woodland owners that have a management plan for their woodlands and are actively involved in the management of their lands.  The program is designed to build on their practical everyday experiences and help them to understand how and why things happened the way they happened.

The Master Woodland Steward Program will be offered at UW - Stevens Point's Treehaven field station as a series of seminars.  This program provides participants with classroom instruction and hands-on learning experiences as well as field trips that are designed to help learn and understand the concepts better.  You can sign up to participate in the entire program or only those seminars that are of interest to you.  Space is limited and preference will be given to those interested in becoming Master Woodland Stewards.

You can learn more about Treehaven at their website http://www.uwsp.edu/cnr/treehaven/
