WEAL was founded in 1972 to serve Wisconsin citizens, train future water quality professionals, and conduct water quality research.  As part of its educational mission, WEAL staff train 35 to 40 students per year. Interested students may inquire by calling (715) 346-3209 or stopping by the  College of Natural Resources, Room 200.
