According to Wisconsin state statute, Section 121.02 (1),

Each school board shall:

By September 1, 1990, develop a written, sequential curriculum plan in all of the following subject areas: reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, health, computer literacy, environmental education, vocational education, physical education, art and music.  The plan shall specify objectives, course content and resources and shall include a program evaluation method. 

 

Wisconsin Administrative Code PI 8.01 (2)(k) establishes a requirement that-
"every school district develop and implement a written, sequential curriculum plan incorporating instruction in environmental education into all subject area curriculum plans, with the greatest emphasis in plans for art, health, science, and social studies education."
