Outreach Prog Manager
John is the Outreach Program Manager for the Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry Program of the Global Environmental Management Education Center (GEM). The goals of this program are to promote organic agriculture and agroforestry through the development of alternative production, processing, and marketing strategies. He is currently coordinating field work with UWSP and host country students faculty with communities in Kenya, Mexico, and Northern Wisconsin. Previously John lived in and around Missoula, Montana while completing his masters degree on local participation in forest management. He also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo, West Africa where this photo of a Tata bedroom was taken in Tamberma Country.
