Everything Under the Sun....................................Ages 9-11

Choose you own adventure! Campers can choose to spend time at the waterfront fishing, boating or swimming; make friends while exploring the pond or learning archery skills. Arts and crafts, campfires, skits, an overnight campout and great food are always included. Horseback riding is optional.

Outdoor Skills.....................................................Ages 10-12

Join us for a week of outdoor skills training including archery, orienteering, fire & shelter building, fly tying, canoeing and kayaking. Put your team’s skills to the test at the Outdoor Skills Olympics and earn a chance to have your picture in the CWES Outdoor Skills Hall of Fame!

Outdoor Skills II Ages 13-15
July 6-11

Are you looking for the next level of outdoor adventure and wilderness survival skills knowledge? This camp will give you the chance to gain that and more! You’ll explore GPS use, search for hidden geo-caches, try intermediate fly tying, and learn about wilderness first aid and outdoor cooking basics. Then, you’ll put your fishing skills to the test and try to help catch supper for camp. Complete the week with a canoe trip down the Wisconsin River and camp overnight on a 50 acre island. Are you up for the challenge?

 Earth Explorers Ages 7-9

Have you ever wondered what lives at the bottom of a pond or deep inside a rotting log? This camp is all about nature awareness and fun, fun, fun! Campers will enjoy learning about the natural world in a safe and fun environment. Swimming, campfires and a picnic lunch by the lake shore are included.

Natural Resource Careers Camp Ages 15-17

If you are interested in the field of natural resources this is the camp for you. Learn about careers in forestry, waters, wildlife, fisheries, land use planning, soils, paper science, environmental education and interpretation. Meet professionals who work in a variety of natural resource specialties. Visit the UW-Stevens Point campus and tour the College of Natural Resources. One undergraduate credit is available for an extra fee.

The decision is yours! Immerse yourself in popular activities such as horseback riding, archery, tie dying or kayaking! Try new activities like tree climbing, using a compass, or participating in group challenges. Enjoy a hike to Raccoon Run for an overnight adventure that you and your cabin mates will always remember.

Nature Adventure Day Camps
Ages 5-6, 7-8, 9-10

July 1 and July 2
Only $35 /day
If your son or daughter is interested in camp but not sure about staying overnight, day camp is the place to be. We will spend the day outside busy with fun, hands-on activities. The day will include a mid-morning snack, lunch, mid-afternoon snack, and waterfront time for swimming and boating. Day programs run from 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Trips
Flambeau River Trip Ages 13-15
June 15-20 $ 375
Spend four days and three nights paddling 41 miles on the North Fork of one of the Midwest’s best canoeing rivers. This trip will begin by building your paddle skills on slow water and end with 12 miles of periodic rocking whitewater rapids.
Limit: 12 - Trip led by CWES Director Scott Johnson.

Apostle Islands Sea Kayak Adventure Ages 15-17
June 22-27
$ 450
If you enjoy a challenge, this is the trip for you. To begin the adventure you will be trained in basic kayak strokes, complete an underwater exit and bail out of your kayak. We will then spend two days paddling 20-30 miles on beautiful Lake Superior while exploring sea caves and camping on the Apostle Islands.

Rock the River and the Bluffs Ages 12-14
July 6-11
$ 375
Travel to the beautiful lower Wisconsin Riverway to paddle the path of the voyageurs. Camp one night on a tree lined island, then try your hand at rock climbing with professional guides while spending 2 nights at Devils Lake State Park.

Family Camp

This is a great opportunity for family fun and bonding - a perfect getaway from the hectic days of summer. Package includes lodging on Friday and Saturday nights, three meals on Saturday, Sunday breakfast, evening programs, campfires, waterfront time with swimming and boating, day time program options and free time to just relax.
