Directions to the Sternberg Forest from the UWSP Campus:

Take business 51 north to Interstate 39 (Hwy 51) north for approximately 18 miles, heading towards Wausau. Immediately after you cross Bull Jr. Creek, take the next exit for Maple Ridge Road - go right (east). Travel approximately 3 miles and take a left (north) on Tee Road. (If you cross Hwy. X, you have gone too far). When you get to the end of Tee road, turn left (west) and then take the first right (north) on Spatz Road. Drive to the end of Spatz Road and park your car. You will have to walk through a logging road on the adjacent property to reach the Southwest corner of the Sternberg Forest.
