Undergraduate Scholarship & Award Application Form
To be considered for a 2012-2013 Scholarship you must submit the completed application by 4:00 p.m. November 30, 2012.
This application will take approximately one hour to complete, so plan accordingly.
Each year the CNR distributes more than $200,000 in scholarships. Various criteria are considered for each scholarship; GPA, extra-curricular activities, experience, major, etc. Recipients are selected from the applications submitted to the CNR; therefore upon completion of this application form, you will be eligible for 200+ scholarships offered in the College.
Some of the information may be considered personal or confidential. You may refuse to provide such information, but if you do, you may remove yourself from consideration for specific awards (but only those awards) which require that information. For example, the primary criteria for many scholarships are major, county of residence or financial need, etc.
Please fill out the application in a professional manner. The reports generated from this application are the only representation of you that the selection committee and scholarship donors have a chance to see. Be very thorough and accurate when completing this information form. Be certain to check grammar and spelling in the narrative, as this is what most reviewers use in forming an impression of you. Typographical or grammatical errors and sloppy workmanship will prevent your receiving favorable consideration from some awarding agencies.
Students will be notified if they are chosen to receive a scholarship by February 28, 2013, after the donors have reviewed and verified the recommendation of the CNR Scholarship Committee. The CNR Rendezvous Scholarship awards program will be held on April 5, 2013.
Note to December 2012 Graduates - this application is designed for students who will be attending school in the Spring 2013 semester and is not intended for December 2012 graduates.
Note to Graduate Students - this scholarship application is for undergraduate students only. Any CNR scholarships that are intended for graduate students will be chosen by the discipline in which the scholarship is housed.
