WEEB is the state legislated board for environmental education.  Their mission is to provide leadership in the development of learning opportunities that empower Wisconsin citizens with the knowledge and skills needed to make wise environmental decisions and take responsible actions in their personal lives, workplaces and communities.  One of the major ways WEEB does this is through their grants program
The Wisconsin Environmental Education Foundation works to improve the quality of life for all Wisconsin citizens through investments in environmental education. We support innovative projects that empower people of all ages with the knowledge and desire to make choices that lead to the long-term health of our environment, economy, and people.   Funds raised by the Wisconsin Environmental Education Foundation are used to pursue the goals and priorities identified in the strategic Plan for Environmentally Literate and Sustainable Communities and to extend the impact of the WEEB grants program.
Adopted in November 2011 by the WEEB, WEEF and WAEE this Plan fills the need for a state strategic vision for environmental literacy and sustainability, and provides a shared set of goals for all people in all sectors of Wisconsin to work towards. It was developed by a diverse set of stakeholders and with the distinct aim to include numerous voices and perspectives in the process.
Established in 1990, Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education (WCEE) works to improve environmental education (EE) in Wisconsin. The WCEE assists in the development, dissemination, implementation and evaluation of teacher and student K-12 EE programs. They also house the Wisconsin Environmental Education Resources Library, home to over 6,000 EE Resources available for borrowing from anyone in Wisconsin.
