Location:
Ramada Convention Center
- Eau Claire, WI
Summary:
With the beautiful colors of Fall and the downtown of Eau Claire, WI as a backdrop the Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education hosted another amazing Fall Conference. With 152 people in attendance in 2009, including 34 students, the conference was an incredible opportunity for professional development, gaining new knowledge and techniques for teaching about being “green” and for reconnecting with fellow environmental educators. The theme, “Keeping the EE in Green: To Learn, To Live, To Act”, brought in many great presentations, field trips and workshops. Participants had the opportunities to attend presentations on a wide variety of topics, travel around Eau Claire and surrounding areas with the 11 field trips options and dig deeper into topics with the workshops.
