Application Procedures

Admission into the Fellowship is every other July semester.  We encourage
serious potential students
to arrange a visit. 

Applications for July 2015 will be accepted beginning January 15, 2014.

Applicants are encouraged to begin  both Parts 1 and 2 simultaneously.

Part 1: Apply to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP)/CNR

(For 2015, indicate that you are applying for Fall, 2015, if Summer, 2015 is not given as an option)

1. UWSP Graduate School Application (this form only for both UWSP/CNR admission)

2. Official copy of your college transcripts (It often takes as long as 4 weeks for official transcripts to be received.)

3. Application fee (more information: click here)

4. Official Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores (It often takes 4 or more weeks for official GRE scores to be received.  Applicants are encouraged to take the GRE as soon as possible.)

Part 2: Apply to the Graduate Fellowship in Residential Environmental Education.

5. Complete the Graduate Fellowship in Residential Environmental Education application:  (PDF, Word), including the required background check form

6. Resume

7. 2 letters of recommendation (or use this form)

8. Essay describing your professional interests and goals

9. Copy of a paper written by you  (choose a scholarly paper or other piece of writing that showcases your writing ability)

10. TOEFL scores (International Students only)
