How much will a CDP course cost?

That depends on the total number of semester credits that you enroll for at UWSP.

For 12 UWSP semester credits plus one (3 credit) CDP Course for a total of 15 credits:

$ 3265.73 Tuition for 12-18 credits (IN STATE tuition)
$ 870.47 per CDP course IN STATE (Sections 84x)
$ 100.00 Text book for one CDP course (approximate cost)

For 9 UWSP semester credits plus one (3 credit) CDP course for a total of 12 credits:

$ 2578.61 Tuition for 9 credits (IN STATE tuition)

For one (3 credit) CDP course:

Why will my UWSP tuition be more for 15 credits than 12 credits?

Tuition for the CDP does not follow the UWSP pattern of paying per credit until you reach full time status, and then paying the same amount for 12 credits as you do for 13-18 credits. If you take a CDP course, you will be billed for the total number of semester credits. So for 15 credits, you will pay $870.47 (for the CDP course) in addition to the tuition that UWSP charges for 12-18 credits ($ 3265.73).

Explain the “Special Fee: $ 200.00” listed in the timetable?

A $200.00 special course fee is charged for each course to help cover the administrative and course-delivery costs that are unique to the Collaborative Degree Program. However, no segregated fees or text rental fees are charged for credits taken in the Program. The courses in this program are a part of a multi-campus effort which is targeted for a specific audience and constitute an expansion of the total offerings of UW-Stevens Point.
