I currently have a full time administrative position and am not teaching in the Department. I maintain a modest research program studying the motions of small peptide chains in order to understand the dynamics of larger polypeptides.
I am a graduate of UWSP (1974, B.S., Chemistry) and Duke University (1978, Ph.D., Physical Chemistry). After two years as a research associate at Princeton University, I joined the Department of Chemistry here at UWSP. I am a physical chemist who is interested in electron dynamics, protein configurations, and the nature of the universe. I have a very active interest in the way we learn new science and how a science curriculum can best take advantage of different learning styles. I usually teach introductory chemistry and Chemistry 335/336 (Physical Chemistry Lectures).
