The Random Walk Polymer is a computer program that generates polymer configurations as random walks on a simple cubic lattice. Several types of systems are considered: polymers in bulk solution, polymers near a planar nonadsorbing boundary, polymers between two parallel nonadsorbing boundaries, polymers terminally attached the side of a square fiber, and polymers terminally attached to one face of a rectangular-box-shaped particle.
Please see THE RANDOM WALK COMPANION for more information about this program.
The program is fully operational and the first four chapters of THE RANDOM WALK COMPANION are currently available through this web site. Other chapters and a set of suggested exercises will be made available in the future.
