January 10, 2009 "Peter Wessel Tordenskiold - Naval Hero Extraordinaire” will be presented to the Torske Klubben Noon Luncheon - Madison, Wisconsin.

December 6-7, 2008:  Will Participate as Santa Claus in Professor Bassam Shakhashiri’s 39th Public Television production of “Once a Christmas Cheery in the Lab of Shakhashiri.”   Video filming will take place on the University of WisconsinMadison campus for airing nationwide later in December.

November 17 – 20, 2008 Atlantic Seaboard Circuit” – American Chemical Society Speaker Service Tour. The Eastern North Carolina Section - Greenville, NC (11/17), Virginia Blue Ridge Section - Lynchburg, VA (11/18), Central North Carolina Section Winston-Salem (11/19), Hampton Roads Section - Virginia Beach, VA (11/20, and Virginia Section - Fredericksburg (11/21) are scheduling visits.  Topics include “The Elements of Leadership: Chemical Demonstrations With a Theme,”  "Chemical Philately: A Perforated History of Chemistry," and "Norwegians in Science."

November 10, 2008: Chemistry Can Be Fun … Really It Can!” – A series of chemical demonstrations will be presented with Professor Donald Showalter to Marquette University High School, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

October 4, 2008: "Super Science Saturday 2008" – Invited keynote speakers with Professor Donald Showalter and Gary Shulfer of the University of WisconsinStevens Point where a series of spectacular science demonstrations was presented to 3M’s Wizard Volunteers at the 3M Campus, St. Paul, Minnesota.

September 26-27, 2008: "Boiling Cold ... Freezing Hot" was the title of a  Friday evening presentation given to the Colorado Section of the  American Chemical Society.  A series of chemical demonstrations and a teacher workshop was also presented at Metropolitan State College of Denver on Saturday.  All events were hosted by the Colorado Section, ACS and conducted with Professor Don Showalter, University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. September 13, 2008: "The Hannah Parr" - A discussion of the epic voyage of a Norwegian emigrant frigate given to the Waupaca Area Genealogical Society, Waupaca, Wisconsin.

September 4, 2008: Knute Rockne: Norwegian All American” was  presented with Dr. Donald Johnson to the Sons of Norway's Wergeland Lodge (#5-028) of La Crosse, Wisconsin.

August 6-10, 2008:  "Peter Wessel Tordenskiold: Naval Hero Extraordinaire" was presented as a plenary address to the Tre Lag Stevne to be held in Fergus Falls, Minnesota (cf. http://www.tronderlag.org/stevne2008.htm)

July 16-19, 2008:  "George Sinclair, The Scottish Invasion of Norway, and the Bible" was the title of a presentation given at the 7-Lag Stevne meeting at the Ramada Inn in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. April 11-12, 2008: “The Elements and Chemistry of Leadership” – A series of chemical demonstrations was presented with Professor Donald Showalter of the University of WisconsinStevens Point to the Iowa Academy of Science’s Annual Meeting to be held at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

January 20-24, 2008:  A series of chemical demonstration programs and general public programs were presented at the Kamehameha Schools in Hilo, Hawai`i.  With Professor Donald L. Showalter of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.  The  programs were presented at the high school, middle school, and elementary schools on The Big Island and, in conjunction with chemistry teacher Joel Truesdell of Kamehameha-Hawai`i, an additional presentation was given in a public forum.

September 14, 2007: “Knute Rockne: Norwegian All American” – A discussion of the chemical and athletic contributions of an icon to American culture was presented jointly with Dr. Donald Johnson as a seminar program to the annual Solørlag Stevne to be held in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. May 10, 2007: Seeing the Unseen” – A program consisting of a series of chemical demonstrations was presented to the 3rd, 4th & 5th  grade students of Our Lady of Peace Middle School , Marshfield, Wisconsin.

May 4, 2007: Seeing the Unseen” & Chemistry Really Can be Fun!– Two programs consisting of a series of chemical demonstrations was presented to the students and parents of the Menomonie Area Teaching Christian Homeschoolers (MATCH) at Menomonie Alliance Church, Menominee, Wisconsin.

May 3, 2007: Seeing the Unseen” – A program consisting of a series of chemical demonstrations was shared with the 5th and 6th grade students of Washington Elementary School, Marshfield, Wisconsin.

April 27, 2007: “The Elements and Chemistry of Leadership” – Invited keynote speaker at the Awards Banquet of the Lake Superior Section, American Chemical Society, Duluth (Minnesota)/Superior (Wisconsin).

April 19, 2007: “Boiling Cold … Freezing Hot” and ”The Elements of Leadership: Chemistry With A Theme”  – Two chemical demonstrations programs were presented to the Chemistry Club of the University of Nebraska at Kearney and to the University’s Chemistry Department.

March 16, 2007: From the Halls of Sør-Trøndelag to the Shores of Oslo, Norway” was the title of a lecture presented at the Lincoln Senior Center, Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

February 11,2007: “Chester Thordarson: Electrodynamo Extraordinaire” – A presentation of the life and work of immigrant Icelander Chester Thordarson – inventor, electrical engineer, architect, conservator, industrialist and ultimately owner of Rock Island, Wisconsin  - was given as a program to the monthly meeting of the “Vennligfolk, Sons of Norway Lodge #5-627” at the Plover Library in Plover, Wisconsin with Dr. Donald Johnson. March 17, 2006: Chemistry Can Be Fun … Really It Can!” – A series of chemical demonstrations was presented with Professor Donald Showalter to the Sullivan Middle School and Olson Middle School, Minneapolis, Minnesota as part of the Young Scientists Roundtable program sponsored by Dow Chemical.

July 15-16, 2005: “Nanotechnology – An Elementary Workshop” and “Chemical Demonstrations - Some New … Some Old” – two workshops to be presented with Professor Donald Showalter as part of a tribute to the memory of Dr. Babu George in conjunction with the 2005 Northeast Regional Meeting (NERM) of the American Chemical Society to be held at Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Connecticut.
