The Data Driven Classroom


A project of curricular revitalization funded by the

Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education
(FIPSE) of the U. S. Department of Education
and the
University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point


Constructing Models:   A New Paradigm for Developing Habits of Critical Thinking was funded by FIPSE (P116B 60882) to teach students to reason from data to concepts, the "data driven" approach..  We are implementing this project in two introductory chemistry courses and  comparing the results to more traditional approaches.
