ALTERNATIVE SPRING BREAK

March 21 - March 27, 2010
What will we be doing?
Participants will be volunteering with the Plateau Restoration organization in Moab, Utah. (www.plateaurestoration.org)
The program involves project work related to native habitat protection and restoration. Service projects may include trail building/clearing, invasive species removal, planting etc.
When is it?
Spring Break: Sunday, March 21st - Saturday, March 27th, 2010
Where will we stay?
Participants will be camping in Moab, meals will be provided throughout the week.
How much does it cost?
The cost of the program for UWSP students is $300.00. This cost includes all transportation (by plane and ground transportation in Utah), housing and camping equipment for the week, meals AND a one day hiking or rafting experience. Applicants are expected to help out at SIEO Service Trip fundraisers and attend all pre-trip meetings.

Interested in joining us?
To sign up for the A.S.B. Moab, the following must be turned in together to the Information and Ticket Office (inside the Dreyfus University Center) no later than Friday, December 11:
- Completed application
- Completed participant agreement
- A check made out to UWSP for $200.00
*** If your application is accepted, an additional $100.00 will be due after winter break by Friday, January 22nd. Because of finals and holidays, participants will be notified of their acceptance on January 8th. If you are not chosen to participate in the spring break trip, your previous payment of $200.00 will be refunded in full.
