Upcoming Trips
INTERCITY IMPACT
Milwaukee, WI
Friday, November 6th - Sunday, November 8th, 2009
Participants will be volunteering with various organizations in the Milwaukee area to gain a better understanding of the effects of urban poverty. (Organizations may include, but are not limited to food pantries and group homes.) Before the trip, there will be three Impact Trainings to learn about the causes of hunger and poverty and what you, as a leader, can do to make a difference. After the trip, we will meet one final time for a local volunteer project. This will give you a chance to put your Impact in Action as we will discuss ways to make a change in Portage County.
