Persons required to have Bloodborne Pathogen Training are those persons likely to have occupational exposure. This includes childcare workers, custodians, health services personnel, protective services personnel, athletic trainers, lifeguards, and others likely to be exposed to blood or body fluids. From OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.1030 (b): Occupational Exposure means reasonably anticipated skin, eye, mucous membrane, or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials that may result from the performance of an employee's duties.
