Make a Difference Day

Saturday, October 25th from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Volunteers will help rake leaves for those in the community who may be disabled, elderly, frail, or those who are no longer physically able to take on such a large task and do not have family in the area to help them out. By spending a few hours of your day raking leaves on a Saturday morning you can make a difference in people's lives!

Empty Bowls

Saturday, October 18. 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at SPASH. Empty Bowls is a community project to raise money for local hunger prevention efforts. For $10 you get to choose a bowl created by local potters, community members, and students. Empty Bowls needs volunteers! For more information, check out the Empty Bowls website:

Interested in meeting executive members from other organizations? Stop by the Basement Brewhaus for some casual conversation with other leaders across campus. October 7, October 28, and November 18 at 8:00 p.m. in the Basement Brewhaus.

Brown Bag Leadership

Every Friday at noon in the DUC Food Court. A weekly group discussion about a different leadership topic. All are invited to attend! Travel AND care for the earth?

An environmental service trip is the opportunity to travel to another part of the country and volunteer for a week on one of the region's environmental concerns, such as working with threatened animal species in New Orleans or working on preserving trails in the Appalachian Mountains.
