Hi my name is Kate Van de Ven. I am the health advocate in Pray-Sims hall. I am a senior in the Health Promotion and Wellness major on the community tract here at UWSP. I really enjoy working with people, especially families. I would like to ultimately work in a hospital setting and would like to put on programs for the community such as stop smoking or a safety night for families. I am originally from Neenah Wisconsin, which is about an hour east of here. I grew up on a dairy farm in a close nit community. I am the middle child of seven and enjoy spending time with my family back home. I also enjoy reading mystery novels and watching movies of all genres and I also enjoy painting.
