Weddings

We appreciate your interest in hosting your wedding reception in the Dreyfus University Center.

What We Offer:

We have two large banquet rooms that can nicely accommodate a wedding reception. The Alumni Room can seat a maximum of 288 people for dinner. Tables can be cleared to provide a dance area.

The Laird Room is a larger banquet room that can accommodate up to 400 for a dinner and a dance.

The University Centers follow a scheduling protocol when reserving space in any of the University Centers buildings. To check availability of possible dates please note:

• Summer weddings (June 1 – August) can be requested 18 months in advance.
• September 2009 – May 2010 can be requested beginning May 1, 2009.
• September 2010 – May 2011 can be requested beginning May 1, 2010.

Use of Facility Costs:

• Facility use fees of approximately (depending on room/rooms requested) $235-$600 would apply for all dates.
• Room set up fees (tables, chairs, stage, house sound, etc) would reflect size and set up requested. Generally, a $1 per person expected fee is charged.
• During the summer months, the University Center is closed on weekends. An additional $300 opening fee would apply for all events held.

Other than your wedding cake, all food and beverages needs to be contracted through University Dining Services. Catering costs are billed separately. Please see their website at http://www.uwsp.edu/centers/catering/.
