Namekagon River Weekend

Grab a friend, a paddle and hop on board for this exciting river
adventure! The Namekagon River is one of
Wisconsin’s wild National Scenic Riverways.
On this versatile river you will experience lush green banks and beautiful
sandbars. This river has something for
everyone with some sections of easy paced slow moving water as well as a few
quick moving rapids! Whether you are a
first time paddler or a seasoned river rat, this trip is for you! We will spend the weekend paddling the river
and camping along its banks. Get out
there and enjoy the fall weather!
Backpacking Pictured Rocks National
**Departs no later than 9 a.m. on the 17th

There are few things simpler or more peaceful than putting on a pack
and heading into the wilderness for a few days.
And there aren’t many better places to do that than Pictured Rocks. This gorgeous wilderness area boasts towering
sandstone cliffs that plunge steeply into the beautiful blue waters of Lake
Superior. We will backpack along the
lakeshore for 3 days and 2 nights, culminating in expansive views of the famous
Miner’s Castle. If you are looking for a
weekend away from the hustle and bustle, or even if you would like to learn a
thing or two about backpacking, this is the trip for you.
Spelunking Mammoth Cave, Kentucky
Pre-trip meeting: Oct. 14 @ 6pm OE Office
Dive into an underground world of adventure with Outdoor
EdVentures. On this excursion we will be
headed deep under the Earth’s surface at Mammoth Cave National Park. The Mammoth Cave System is the longest cave
system in the world with over 390 miles of explored caverns and tunnels. We will be embarking on the “Wild Cave
Tour”. This tour will take us through
parts of the cave that are hidden from most other visitors. We will don helmets, kneepads and headlamps
and head underground for 6 hours, experiencing tight squeezes and enormous
subterranean caverns! Chest/hip
measurements cannot exceed 42” for this tour.
On Sunday you will have the opportunity to either hike, or check out one
of the many cave walking tours before we head home. So steel your nerves and dip below the
surface with us!
Climbing Horseshoe Canyon Ranch
Date: Nov. 7-9

Come with us on this
one-of-a-kind trip to Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, nestled in the beautiful Ozark
Mountains of Northern Arkansas. Escape
the chill of Wisconsin in November and head south to lay hands on some stone
while it’s still warm! Horseshoe Canyon has over 300 routes along with some
world class bouldering; this area has been featured in a number of climbing magazines
and videos. We will camp right at the
ranch, just a few minutes’ walk from hundreds of climbing routes. There is also a huge disc golf course here,
so please feel free to bring some discs and throw a round if your fingers get
tired! All skill levels welcome.
Paddle the Plover
Fall is the perfect time to explore some of our local waterways. Let Outdoor EdVentures help you discover this
beautiful river. These short day trips
are perfect for those who are looking for a little excitement on a sunny fall
afternoon. All necessary equipment
included in cost.
Full Moon X-Country Ski or Snowshoe

Join OE as we venture into the night under the light of the full moon! We will grab some skis and snowshoes and hit
the Plover River Trail under the stars.
Afterward OE will provide hot chocolate so you can thaw yourself out!
