During the Spring 2012 semester, leaders of various UWSP campus shared governance groups and others involved in the Policy and Advisory Committee for Student Organizations (PACSO) convened and created the Student Organization Conduct Board. The SOCB was organized in response to the changes in Chapter 17 and 18 state policy concerning conduct both inside and outside the university setting. Any appeals or more serious violations of policy will be forwarded to the university's Student Rights and Responsibilities Office.
The purpose of the Student Organization Conduct Board (SOCB) is to uphold student organization standards and expectations through the process of peer review. Student board members will review incidents of misconduct and recommend sanction which will address inappropriate behavior.
