Priorities:

Encourage students and alumni to engage in self-assessment to clarify values, interests and skills in order to make well-informed decisions concerning academic and career choices.

Promote greater individual awareness of the world of work, the importance of

early career planning and the stages of career development over one’s lifetime.

Collaborate with units and departments to promote career awareness and planning

through advising, curriculum development and extracurricular activities.

Assist students in pursuing opportunities that integrate classroom learning

with career-related experiences.

Provide tailored assistance to identify employment options and prepare materials relevant to securing meaningful work and/or pursue further education.

Foster partnerships with employers to monitor market trends, link employers with

academic departments/administration, and assist employers with the hiring process.
