BIO
I joined the faculty at UW-Stevens Point in the fall of 1999. Prior to joining UWSP, I was a Visiting Professor of Finance at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. I received my Ph.D. in Finance, and graduate degrees in both Economics and Accounting, from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. I teach a variety of finance courses, and have several publications and presentations, with a focus on corporate finance and financial markets. My recent research interests include the financial market crisis and the effects of federal reserve policy on financial markets. Prior to embarking on a career in academia, I was a Vice President of Corporate Finance for Robert W. Baird & Co., and had responsibilities that included advising client senior management on financial and strategic decisions, such as public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and business valuations.
