Acct, Bus & Econ Course Waitlist Qualifications and Procedures
(REVISED April
2006)
Qualifications: Students must be in good academic standing
with their major/minor (2.50+ GPA for Bus and Acct).
Disqualifications: Students who were able to register for 15+ credits, students
who just want a different section, students who withdrew from the course during
a prior semester, and students who failed the course
are NOT eligible to be on the waitlists.
Exceptions: Your academic advisor may approve
for you to be on a waitlist by stating the reason(s) for the exception and
signing their name on the back side of this form.
How is priority determined?

Students
who need the course to graduate the next semester will have priority.

ACCT
or BUS majors who have completed 20+ in-major credits with a 2.5+ in-major GPA
will have priority along with ECON majors who have completed Econ 210 & 210
and Math 355 with a 2.25+ GPA.

who have completed their G
v
Students
who submit their waitlist request form by the last day of the registration
period will have priority.
Waitlist Deadline? You have until Aug 15 for fall or Jan 10
for spring to submit a waitlist request form to 304B,
Waitlist Procedure:
1. Complete a Request Form located on
304B,
2.
Write only one DBE course (Acct, Bus, or Econ and only one section
number on the top of the form.)
2. Attach a recent copy of your
DPR and slide the form through the 304B,
Other options?
You may be able to get in by going to the first day of the class to see
if there were any last minute drops.
Your name does not to be on the
wait list to be added to the class.
When will I be notified?
An email
telling you to register for the course will be sent before the semester ends if
you a seat became available for you. If a seat becomes available later, you
will receive permission to register for the course no later than the Friday
before classes begin.
If I dont get an email, can I go to
the first day to see if a seat became available?
Yes! We suggest that you do!
How do I get on the waitlist for
Only one (1) form per student,
and you must have your DPR attached to be processed.
