Ms. Mihm has been teaching at UWSP since 1998. Her undergraduate degree is in Interior Design from UWSP and her MS degree is in Management Technology from UW-Stout. She also holds an MA in Communication from UWSP. Her 20 years of retail management experience allow for many practical examples in the courses she teaches.

Areas of research that interest Ms. Mihm include gender differences in leadership styles, mentoring and women's career development, and consumer behavior differences. She has presented at a variety of conferences and seeks to incorporate her research into the classroom.

Ms. Mihm is proud to be part of the UWSP community and feels that the personal attention given to her students contributes to their growth as professionals. Students frequently comment on her enthusiasm for the subjects she teaches.  She sums things up with  "making a mid-life career change has been an excellent choice for both myself and my students."
