The UW-Stevens Point Center for Economic Education is affiliated with the National Council on Economic Education and EconomicsWisconsin. Our goal is "helping children understand how our economy works." To accomplish this goal, we work with K-12 teachers in all subject areas and grade levels to provide curriculum materials, teaching strategies, and professional development. Last year more than 500 Wisconsin teachers participated in the courses, workshops, and presentations of our Center for Economic Education.
