Time to Apply to your M​ajor!

Are you ready to apply for admission to your Schoo​l of Business & Economics major? If you have taken between 10-18 credits toward your major, the time to apply is now! To request admission to any SBE major, you must first attend a Success in SBE majors informational session (see information below). Once you've completed this requirement, you'll have to submit an application and a copy of your degree progress report. The fall 2014 application is now available.

For each of our majors and minors, there is a guide that will provide you with general information about the major and a possible plan for completing the coursework. There is also a checklist to help you keep track of your progress and to help you plan for the future. Make sure to utilize the resources below according to the academic year in which you entered the SBE program.

Advice from the Advising Team


Now that you are in your major, lets help you develop a plan that will minimize your time here and help get the absolute most out of your tuition dollars. It all starts with a plan. Use the program guidelines below to know which classes you will need. There are approx. 20-23 classes within each major. Understand the big picture and plan for both your semester and your four years here. 


Here are a few other helpful tips:

  • Apply to the School of Business & Economics as soon as you have 10 in-major credits completed.
