What does the Society do?

Well as the name implies we like reptiles and amphibians, and our group puts forth an effort to educate the public.  We do this by providing educational shows to schools and classrooms that have an interest in learning about reptiles and amphibians.  The Herpetology society works to educate the public, but we also like to enhance our own working knowledge of reptiles.  We do this by taking cool trips to zoos and other facilities that deal with reptiles.

Our Herp Shows...
Picture (298x238, 31.1Kb)

Our society tries to educate the public about herps and their ecological role.  We mainly focus on elementary schools but also include middle and high schools.  Our shows are free, but we ask for a small donation to cover expenses.  If your school is interested e-mail Julie Ray.
