The Member of the Month Award
Steve Irwin, "The Croc Hunter" is now a member of the UWSP Herpetology Society

On behalf of Steve I would like to thank you very much for his
honorary membership to the Herpetology Society at the
University of Wisconsin.  He is extremely grateful for this
recognition and one day hopes to be able to visit Wisconsin
personally to attend your presentation.

We are continually overwhelmed by the interest that the general public
are showing in herpetology since our series has been on air.   We are
very very proud of the fact that we have influenced hundreds of
thousands of people worldwide to change their attitude from
"the only good snake is a dead snake" to one of "live and let live".

We have no immediate plans to visit the USA for filming purposes
but we will certainly contact you if the opportunity arises for us
to visit Stevens Point.

Once again Steve Irwin thanks you very much,

JOHN STAINTON
Producer / Director

Homes for Herps
These animals are looking for good homes.  If you are interested, make sure you will be able to adequately care for it.  Many of these animals will get much larger.
When you call these people, tell them you heard about it through the Herpetology Society.

If you have animals that you can no longer care for and want to give them a good home, Picture (65x13, 4.8Kb)me and I will post the information.
