Pointers Take Four Titles and Two Relays at Stout
UW-Stevens Point�s women�s track and field
team had four individual champions and swept both relays at Saturday�s
UW-Stout Open in Menomonie.
No team scores were kept in the five-team
meet, but the Pointers won the 1600-meter relay in 4:04.95 and the
800-meter relay in 1:45.88.
Laura Simonis added a title in the 400-meter
run in 1:00.15 and Hannah Dieringer claimed the 5000-meter run in
18:51.16. Beth Richter was victorious in the long jump at 16 feet, seven
inches, while Alisa Denfeld captured the shot put with a throw of 40
feet, 4.25 inches. |
