Women�s Track
and Field Team Honored for Academic Success
The UW-Stevens Point women�s track and field
team has been honored for its academic success by the Track and Field
Coaches Association of America.
The Pointers achieved a cumulative team grade
point average of 3.28 last spring. Teams with GPA�s of 3.10 or higher
are recognized for their academic excellence.
In addition, six individuals were honored as
scholar All-Americans. Lisa Anderson, Megan Craig, Kately Haberman,
Jenna Mitchler, Katie Simo and Teresa Stanley all compiled at least a
3.25 GPA while also achieving a provisional qualifying time for the NCAA
Division III outdoor championships. |
