UW-Stevens Point had four
wrestlers go undefeated as the Pointers won all four all matches at the Olivet Duals on Saturday in
Olivet, Mich.
UW-Stevens Point gave up two forfeits, but
still managed wins over Mount St. Joseph (Ohio) 26-23, Olivet (Mich.)
24-21, Ohio Northern 28-15 and Mount Union (Ohio) 23-16.
Eric Bath had a dominating day at 174 pounds
for the Pointers with a technical fall in the opening match, a 22-second
pin in the second contest and a major decision victory in his third
match. He also won by decision against Mount Union to finish 4-0 for the
day.
Mitch Szwet went 4-0 at 197 pounds, getting a
pin against Olivet among his four wins. Also, Tyler Wozniak was
undefeated at 184 pounds and Josh Ison was 4-0 at 165 pounds with a pin
against Ohio Northern. Chris Brown added three wins at 157 pounds. |
