Three Pins Lead
Pointers to Dual Win at Lakeland
Eric Bath, Jered Kern and Chad Gregory each
recorded pins to help the UW-Stevens Point wrestling team overcome two
forfeits to post a 28-21 win at Lakeland on Tuesday and improve to 5-0
for the season.
Bath needed just 1:02 to pin his opponent at
174 pounds, while Kern posted a pin in 4:09 at 133 pounds. Gregory had a
pin in 4:40 in his first varsity dual match at 197 pounds.
Chris Karl added a 7-0 major decision win at
165 pounds for the Pointers. Chris Brown won his match at 157 pounds and
Tyler Wozniak was a 1-0 winner at 184 pounds.
