UW-La Crosse Match Rescheduled for Feb.

UW-Stevens Point's wrestling dual
with UW-La Crosse has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. in
Berg Gym. The Pointers and Eagles were originally scheduled to compete on
Dec. 14, but the match was postponed due to a snowstorm.
Wrestlers Seeded Fifth for National
Duals
UW-Stevens Point landed the fifth
seed for the National Wrestling Coaches Association national duals on Jan.
14-15 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The
Pointers, ranked 10th in the latest national poll, will take on
29th-ranked Coe (Iowa) in the opening round. The winner will meet the
winner of the match between Ohio Northern and fourth-seeded Luther (Iowa).
Luther is ranked fifth in the latest coaches' poll.
Of the 15 teams in the meet, 12 were ranked in the most recent national
poll. The top three teams in the poll, Wartburg, UW-La Crosse and Augsburg
are all in the event.
