OLIVET, Mich. - Cody Koenig posted a pair of
pins as the UWSP wrestling team finished 4-1 at the Olivet duals Saturday.
The Pointers, ranked 11th in the NCAA Division III, opened the day with
wins over Baldwin-Wallace (Ohio) 31-13 and Rose-Hulman (Ind.) 41-6 before
losing to 15th-ranked Lycoming (Pa.) 21-13. UW-Stevens Point rallied with
a 37-4 win over 21st-ranked Cortland State (N.Y.) and then beat
27th-ranked Wabash (Ind.) 22-12.
Koenig had two pins and another victory, but lost his match against
Wabash. Eric Bath added a pin in the win over Baldwin-Wallace, while Ed
Wynimko and Mitch Szwet posted pins against Rose-Hulman.
