The
Pointers train in a facility which contains an eight-lane racing pool, a
separate diving well, and a movable bulkhead so training can be done in
both meters and yards. The diving well also features two underwater
windows.
The facility, built in 1991,
features a Colorado Timing system with an eight-lane readout. Durafirm
diving boards were installed in 2001.
The pool also has four power racks
for sprint training. The facilities are the best in the WIAC and hosted
the conference championships in 2000 and 2003. The Pointers will host
again in 2007. |
